YASHMAN GREENE, LMFT
Hello my name is Yashman Greene. I am a marriage and family therapist associate. I earned my BA in psychology at Winston-Salem State University and MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. As a Marriage and Family therapist I view my clients through a systemic lens, taking into consideration the person’s whole system including; couple/family dynamics, generational family history and patterns, cultural and social status/factors and other environmental factors in a client’s life.
In addition to working with couples and families I welcome individuals with Autism spectrum, mental health care & diagnoses, behavioral problems, relationships and family dynamics issues, gender identification and childhood trauma. I am passionate about helping, supporting and empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples work through both internal and external factors that cause distress, social injustices, and relational issues.
I aim to help you discover and nurture, what I likes to call, our “Best Me”. In helping you become your Best Me I takes a holistic/ person centered approach, creating a non-judgmental and safe space, meeting the person(s) where they are at in their process, and strengthening self-awareness, management and communication to help individuals, couples and families achieve their desired goals/change.
