Our first appointment, the intake appointment, is $150 and typically 60 minutes long. The intake is used to gather information and collaboratively create your personalized treatment plan. We try to make our therapy pricing as inclusive and accessible as possible.
Follow-up appointments are 45 minutes and those are $100. The focus of these appointments is learning new tools and strategies, processing, and gaining understanding. Also, expect homework in between appointments to build on what we’ve covered in our session.
I am private pay, meaning I don’t take insurance but I would still encourage you to understand your coverage and how you might be reimbursed for my services. To do so, simply call your insurance provider and ask the questions below:
- Does my plan cover out-of-network behavioral health services in an outpatient setting? Would it be covered if I had a referral from my primary care doctor?
- Do I have a deductible for that?
- How much is that deductible? How much of that have I met? And once I do, how much will my plan cover?
- Can I, the patient, submit claims electronically? If so, how? If not, what are my options for submitting?
If they do not cover any of my services, keep in mind that you may also have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) that can be used towards our appointments as well.
